Dr Shuang Song is currently a UNSW ECR Startup fellow in the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. She is working on the e-waste recycling and CO2 transformation projects by means of numerical simulations for process design and lab experiments for process demonstration. Shuang received her PhD (2022) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), B.E. (2014) and M.E (2017) from Wuhan Institute of Technology (WIT). Shuang's research efforts are devoted to optimizing some critical engineering processes such as filtration, e-waste recycling and CO2 transformation by means of numerical simulation and experimental approaches, to achieve a sustainable engineering industry. Up to now, she has published 16 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier multidisciplinary journals with an h-index of 10 as of 2024.
